Copyright & Re-Licensing Policy

Copyright Ownership
All photographs, videos, and other creative content produced by Jeremy Lang (also known as Jem Lang) are protected by Australian copyright law. Jem Lang retains all rights, ownership, title, and interest in and to the content, including all copyrights, moral rights, and any other proprietary rights.

 

Usage Rights
When you or a third-party engage Jem Lang to create content, Jem Lang grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for the specific purpose outlined in the project agreement. The license is limited to the duration of the project and the agreed-upon uses.

 

Permitted Uses
The permitted uses of the content may include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing and promotion: Use in advertising, social media, website content, or other marketing materials.

  • Internal use: Use within your organization for internal purposes, such as presentations or training.

  • Specified third-party use: Use by specific third parties as agreed upon in the project agreement.

 

Restrictions
You may not:

  • Modify or alter the content in a way that could damage Jem Lang's reputation or the integrity of the work.

  • Sub-license or assign your rights to the content to a third party.

  • Use the content for any purpose not explicitly authorised in the project agreement.

 

Re-Licensing

If you wish to re-license the content for additional uses beyond the initial one-time use (i.e. a property owner changes property manager, or manages the property themselves)  Jem Lang must agree to the re-license. There is a re-licensing fee associated with the re-licensing of the photography and/or video content. 

 

Moral Rights

Jem Lang retains its moral rights in the content, including the right to be identified as the author and the right to object to derogatory treatment of the work.
 

Termination of License
Jem Lang may terminate the license if you breach any of the terms of this policy or the project agreement.
